Getting qualified
We deliver BSAC training and courses, details of which can be found here.
For a complete beginners you can choose either of these two BSAC courses to start with:

If you want to cross over from a different agency (PADI, SSI, NAUI, etc), then get in touch. You don't need to get a BSAC qualification to join us, you only need to become a member of BSAC. If you do want to do any training, we can advise you on an equivalent BSAC qualification to start out with based on your dive experience.
All our members are volunteers, including our instructors. We all make time in our busy lives, to onboard and train new divers with the hope of being able to dive with them in the recent future. It is in our interest to make you a competent and confident diver, because as a dive buddy, we will rely on you for our safety.

Training FAQs
What is BSAC?
BSAC stands for British Sub-Aqua Club, which is a leading diving organization in the UK. You can find more about them here.
Where do you train?
Our pool sessions are usually held at Aldershot Garrison pool (Garrison Sports Centre, Rawlinson Rd, Aldershot GU11 2EY).
Our open water trainings are usually held at Wraysbury (TW19 5ND) or Vobster (BA3 5ZG).
Where are you located?
We are located in Farnbrough & Aldershot area in Hampshire.
We meet at Farnbourough Rugby Club every Thursday 8PM. Come over for a pint!
Are there any fitness requirements?
Prior to starting a course, you are required to complete a BSAC medical self-declaration form (certain conditions may exclude you from diving, or may require a doctor's sign-off).
You need to pass a swimming test as part of the Ocean Diver course, but you can do this at your own pace and stroke preference.
Do I need to buy equipment?
You do not need to purchase any equipment for try dives or Ocean Diver course pool sessions, we supply you with club kit. You may need to rent some items for the open water sessions.
After you get qualified, we encourage everyone to gradually purchase all their dive equipment because the dive experience is so much better when the kit is customised to you!
