Interested in a try dive?
Pre-requisites:
Minimum 14 yrs of age
Can swim the length of a 50m pool without any buoyancy aids
Can self-certify the BSAC medical declaration (which will be provided if you wish to sign-up). Certain medical conditions may require a doctor's sign-off.

Usually we hold it at the Aldershot Garrison pool on a weekend evening
Costs £25 per person*
And then...
After we get back to you with a date and other details, we will provide you details for payment method. Your place is only confirmed after we have received the payment.

Joining instructions - this will tell you what to expect on the day
BSAC Medical form - for you to be printed, filled & bought to the try-dive. Please read carefully the medical conditions that may exclude you from diving unless you have a doctor's sign off.

What to expect on the day
Club members will meet you at the reception where you will fill up some forms and get a briefing from our lead instructor.
You will be taken to the pool side to do a swim for the length of the pool unaided (50m).
Then your individual dive guide will give you a quick run-through of how to use the SCUBA equipment, and help you put it on and get comfortable.
When you feel ready, you will slowly submerge into the water in the shallow end (2m) and do a few things to be at ease, like breathing under water, feeling your buoyancy, etc.
You will then be taken on a dive across the length of the pool towards the deeper end (4m) where you can do some fun manoeuvres if you want to.
The water session will last about 30mins, and hopefully you will come out wanting more!
